Scripture Memory Verse: Jeremiah 23:5 (NIV)
" 'The days are coming,' declares the Lord, 'when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.' "

We had "back-to-School" night at my school and of course I stayed after chatting with parents and other teachers so I didn't make it to BSF last week. When you're unable to go it really stinks because not only do you miss small group and discussing the study form the week before, but you also miss lecture and can't get the notes for the upcoming week. It's just another incentive to make it each and every week. So this week I was only able to do days 2-6.

Day 6
In Lesson 2 we talked about the themes in Revelation (kind of scary) and John, the author of Revelation.  My big takeaway this week was after reflecting on today's question, "What have you learned about God and His relationship to His creation and His children in this week's study?"

This made me take it all they way back to the first book of the bible, Genesis. God spoke the earth (His creation) into existence and created His children in His own image. He has always and will always look after us. He continues to show us grace and mercy daily. He will continue to nurture His relationships with His creation and His children.

{Please note that what I got from this lesson is not necessarily the same as what other people did. People can get very different takeaways from the scripture based on prior knowledge, life situations, faith, what spoke to them, etc.}
