BSF Lesson 3: Revelation 1:3

Scripture Memory Verse: Revelation 1:3 (NIV)
"Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of his prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take it to heart what is written in it, because the time is near."
Day 1
My big takeaways from the lecture and notes are that God is looking for ordinary people to become His extraordinary servants. You don't have to be this amazingly developed person to serve God. Anyone can. I also read that if you don't apply God's word to your life, the Bible is just a story. Live by His word and don't just go through the motions. Be an extraordinary servant!

Day 6
What is the most important thing you learned in this week's study?
God is the only one with the authority and dependability to save us from sin and to give us an eternal life with Him. No one else could have sent their only son to save us from sin. Nor could we depend on any one else to do that for us.

{Please note that what I got from this lesson is not necessarily the same as what other people did. People can get very different takeaways from the scripture based on prior knowledge, life situations, faith, what speaks to them, etc.}
