Weekend Recap: A Little Rain Never Hurt Anyone

Monday, October 5, 2015

Wow! Such a fun weekend celebrating our friends Eliza and Chris. Hurricane Joaquin was in full force, but we didn't let a little rain ruin our weekend.  The drive there was crazy. Wind, rain, back roads, up and around mountains. By the time we got to the house we rented with friends Byron said, "Huh. . . who would've thunk it. This place way out here in the middle of nowhere." Our house was part off the Omni Homestead Resort, this huge hideaway in Hot Springs, VA.

Before the wedding on Saturday, our friend Page took us for a hike to an overlook (in the rain). We got wet, but still had a good time. We then warmed up with a hot tub party. Wooooo!

The wedding was outside on a farm. Beautiful. Of course it started raining right before Eliza made her grand entrance, but she handled it very well and still looked amazing!

Here are some pics from this weekend.

And after the party is the afterparty. Following the reception we headed back to the Homestead and hit the arcade hard. Best afterparty ever. Of course B and Mike had to try to beat the high score on Hoops! #basketballwives

I LOVE traveling and spending time with friends. This group is hilarious and so absolutely ridiculous, but I wouldn't want it any other way.

Cheers to good friends!
