Scripture Memory Verse - Revelation 3:11-12 (NIV)
"I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take our crown. The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name."

Day One
What was meaningful or helpful to you in the lecture?
I learned that just because we are Christians doesn't mean our lives are going to be easy, actually quite the contrary. God will not takeaway our struggle, but shower us with the power and faith to endure it.

What help did you receive from the notes?
Nothing can separate us from God's love. My faith is strong enough to always believe and His love is strong enough to always keep up my faith.

Day Six
What have you learned about God is this week's study?
I was reminded of how God has extended His merciful gift of grace to me, uniquely and personally. He allows me to make mistakes, learn from them and then repent. And while I'm making those mistakes, he protects me, keeps me safe and gets me back on track.

{Please note that what I got from this lesson is not necessarily the same as what others did. People can get very different takeaways from the scripture and questions based on prior knowledge, life situations, faith, etc.}
