BSF Lesson 9: Praise God

Sunday, November 22, 2015

Scripture Memory Verse - Daniel 7:18 (NIV)
"But the holy people of the Most high will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever - yes, for ever and ever."
Day One
What was meaningful to you in the lecture?
One of the principles from our lecture was, "Resolve to remain true to god, no matter what the circumstances may be." For some people, it's easy to just pray to God when they really need something. For others, they praise God and pray daily, but when something goes bad, they question God and turn away from Him. We need to love and praise God in any circumstance and for everything. Resolving to remain true to God, no matter what the circumstance may be, proves your love to Him.

Day Six
What is the most challenging or inspiring thing you learned about God this week?
Going along with what I learned from the lecture, I was challenged by the study this week to praise God constantly and consistently and live a God centered life. I should be turning to God first, no matter what.

{Please note that what I got from this lesson is not necessarily the same as what others did. People can get very different takeaways from the scripture and questions based on prior knowledge, life situations, faith, etc.}
