One of the latest crazes in fitness this year has been fitness trackers. They measure and keep track of your distance walked or run, calorie consumption/ calorie burn, heartbeat, quality of sleep, etc. There are so many devices and apps to chose from, but luckily I found this awesome article the other day on Women'sHealth about a side-by-side comparison on seven fitness trackers. Why use a fitness tracker?
The American Journal of Preventative Medicine says people who keep logs are the most successful at reaching their fitness goals. Fitness trackers also provide feedback in real time - keeping us on track and letting us see what areas we need to improve on.
